Tina and Ryan’s wedding was truly a stunning masterpiece to behold. Their wedding was the perfect harmonious blend of traditional and modern notes, with the right amount of elegance, romance and grace thrown into the mix. They kept their decor soft and romantic, which beautifully melded with the charm of the estate. Ivory, cream and blush pink bouquets adorned the altar which was gracefully draped with crisp white chiffon. Tina, Ryan and their bridal party all looked effortlessly sophisticated. Tina was a true vision in her off the shoulder classic ivory gown with a delicate lace and beaded overlay on both the bodice and flowing skirt and train. Ryan looked dapper and chic in his expertly tailored navy blue tuxedo. Their bridesmaids and groomsmen equally looked charming and lovely in their romantic blush pink dresses and navy blue suits.
Graydon Hall Manor which boasts a sprawling 29 room Georgian manor house with lavish decor, a spectacular 160 foot long terrace adjacent to rich limestone flowing fountains and lush gardens is truly a sight to behold. This grand 1930’s estate which was originally built in 1936 for financier Rupert Bain to be a “sportsman’s paradise”, has been one of Toronto’s top high-end wedding venues since its transformation in 2000. This formidable estate was the ideal location for Tina and Ryan to hold their splendidly charming and refined wedding.
We had the pleasure of previously meeting Tina at a wedding we worked in (she was a bridesmaid), and were more than thrilled when she and Ryan later approached us to be their wedding photographers. Throughout the whole wedding process Tina and Ryan were extremely gracious, kind, industrious and a true joy to work with. Tina and Ryan also thoughtfully and expertly planned and executed their spectacular wedding themselves without a hitch.
Graydon Hall Manor could have not provided us with better aesthetics to snap dazzling and innovative wedding editorial photos for Tina and Ryan. The regal and delicate beauty of the manor with its glorious staircase, stately bay windows, surrounding courtyard and gardens inspired us to execute soft and romantic shots with a decadently glamorous editorial twist. The boudoir portrait that we took of Tina is a standout shot from the day as it effortlessly captured our vision. Tina was an absolute natural when it came to posing and showcased her poise and gorgeous gown flawlessly. We were able to gracefully and elegantly show off the glorious lace and beaded train of her gown against the understated beauty of the large bay windows in the room. We lastly took full advantage of the natural lighting pouring in from the windows to expertly bring together and frame this magical and exquisite editorial shot.
It truly was a honour to have worked with such a lovely couple on one of their most special days. Tina and Ryan, we wish you all the best as you embark on this new and exciting chapter together!
